Building energy performance certification is a regulated process that determines a building's energy consumption, assesses its energy performance by assigning an energy performance class, and issues the building's energy performance certificate. There are 9 energy performance classes: A++, A+, A, B, C, D, E, F, G. A++ is the highest class (lowest consumption), G is the lowest (highest consumption).
